Calgel Teething Gel helps relieve teething pain and soothe infant gums.

Calgel Teething Gel is used for teething pain. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic which means that it helps relieve teething pain and soothe infants’ gums. Cetylpyridinium chloride has mild antiseptic properties.

Contains Lidocaine (Lignocaine) hydrochloride BP 0.33 %w/w

How to Use

Calgel Teething Gel is suitable for babies from the age of 3 months.

Place a small quantity of Calgel Teething Gel, approximately one-third of an inch (7.5mm) onto a clean pad of cotton wool or the tip of a clean finger
Gently rub onto the affected area of the gum.
If necessary repeat after 20 minutes, up to six times in one day.

Hazards and Cautions

Do not:

exceed the recommended dose.

If you accidentally use too much, tell your doctor at once. If you cannot do this, go to the nearest hospital accident and emergency (casualty) department. Take along any gel that is left, the tube and the carton so that the hospital can easily tell what medicine you have used.
